We were very excited to be able to show at the MIHJA show on May 21st and 22nd hosted by Huntermark Farm in Coal Valley, Illinois.  Remi Farina was in the irons on "Military Press" and Nicole Farina presented on "Starchy".  It was a thrilling opportunity for both Remi and Nicole as they were showing their mounts for the first time in a hunter/jumper show.

Remi has only been working with Military Press since February, a very short time for the performance they turned out.  The pair took home 3 Grand Champion ribbons, 6 First Place blue ribbons and 1 Second Place red ribbon over the 2 day event. 

Nicole and Starchy were both new to the hunter circuit and also made a respectable showing.  The pair took home 1 First Place blue ribbon in "Cross Rails Over Fences", a Second Place red ribbon in "Beginner Horse/Beginner Rider Over Fences", as well as a Third Place yellow ribbon in "Pleasure Horse"

Congratulations to Remi and Nicole.  We look forward to what you will accomplish for the rest of the 2011 show season!

Swan Creek Stables is so proud to welcome our newest boarder "ACE" born in early May 2010! 

We are continuing to grow and make improvements to the stables and pastures.  We now have brand new pastures just to the south of the house that also has an automatic waterer.

We were so happy to partner with the Avon Helping Hands over the Memorial Day weekend to raise money for the playground equipment for Avon Park.  We had a great time and the kids had fun with the pony rides.

We are very excited about the improvements that we have made around the place.

We have added a 3 inch sand base to the indoor arena along with new lighting.  It looks like daylight, even at 9 o'clock at night!!

We have recently painted the inside of the barn and added blanket bars and hooks to all the stall doors!  We have also added lighting to the stalls that is very horse safe.  They are jar lights with cages.

We also have an indoor wash rack!!
